Why Canada week? Because it’s easier to research than Azerbaijan Week.
Here’s how it goes. I post three questions. You submit your answers: you can e-mail them to me (tracksuperfan@yahoo.com) if you don’t want anyone else stealing your answers, or you can post them in the comments, or you can tweet them to me (@tracksuperfan).
Do you have to get them all right? No! I select at random from those who get the most right, which could be two or one or even none at all. The winner gets coffee and a donut at Tim Horton’s (or whatever else you want with your $5 gift card).
Today’s topic is Canadians in America, questions about Canadian athletes competing for U.S. colleges. Here are your three questions.
Easy: A prominent US collegiate meet is named for which Canadian four-time Olympic medalist?
Medium: Which Canadian has won the most NCAA championships? I’m only considering individual events, indoors and out, and only in Division I.
Hard: Who was the first Canadian woman to win a US collegiate championship? Likewise, I mean individual events only.
